This is to advise the news media that the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District will host a Mardi Gras themed Open House. There will be food and beverages and music performed live by Danny Blew and the Blues Crew and the US Navy's Commodores Jazz Ensemble. Special Operations officers displaying and explaining their equipment will also be on hand. 

Other entertainment will include a moon bounce, a float parade, and a dunk tank.  (Chief of Police Charles H. Ramsey, Executive Assistant Chief Michael J. Fitzgerald, and Commander Larry McCoy are candidates for the Dunk Tank this year!)
