The
Metropolitan Police Department will host the 20th Anniversary celebration
of the National Crime Prevention
Council's (NCPC) well-known spokesdog, Mcgruff ,
on Thursday, September 28, 2000. Cake, balloons, and gift-packs for children
will be provided. The public is invited to attend. McGruff and participating
officials will be available for interview and photo opportunities.
