On Thursday, December 7, 2006, at 3 pm, President George W. Bush will officially open the 83^rd Annual Christmas Pageant of Peace at the Ellipse, where he will light the National Christmas Tree. 

 No parking will be permitted from approximately 6 am until 7 pm at the following locations:

• 15^th Street, NW, from Constitution Avenue to E Street, NW
• 17^th Street, NW, from Constitution Avenue, to E Street, NW
• Constitution Avenue, NW, from 15^th to 17^th Streets, NW
• E Street, NW, from 15^th to 17^th Streets, NW

The following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 2:30 pm until 6:30 pm:

• Constitution Avenue, between 14^th Street and 18^th Street, NW
• 17^th Street, between Pennsylvania Avenue and Constitution Avenue, NW
• 15^th Street, between New York Avenue and Constitution Avenue, NW
• Pennsylvania Avenue, between 14^th Street and 15^th Street, NW
• E Street, between 17^th and 18^th Street, NW
• E Street, between 14^th and 15^th Street, NW
• F Street, between 14^th and 15^th Street, NW
• G Street, between 14^th and 15^th Street, NW
