At approximately 8:28 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007, police were called to the front of 4423 Georgia Avenue, N.W. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a 47-year-old male suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time pending the notification of next-of-kin.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch.

The department currently offers a reward up of to TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
