The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects who robbed a business establishment.
At approximately 2:30 pm on Friday, February 2, 2007, a lone male gunman robbed the BB&T Bank located at 614 H Street, NW. The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money and then fled.
The suspect is described as a medium to dark complexioned black male, 35–40 years of age, 5’10”to 5’11” tall, with a mustache. He was wearing a black hat, a black jacket, and blue jeans.
This case is under investigation by detectives assigned to the department’s Robbery Task Force. Anyone who has information about this case or who may know the identity of the suspect is asked to call (202) 996-1119 or (202) 727-9099.
The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
