At
approximately 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2000, DCFD
medics and Fifth District police responded to the rear alley
located at Montello Avenue and Penn Street NE for the report
of a man down. Upon arrival, units located 19-year-old Quinton
Hearold Ferebee Jr., of the 1300 block of Early Oak Lane,
Capitol Heights, Maryland, suffering from gunshot wounds to
the chest and arm.
The victim was transported to D.C. General Hospital where he
was pronounced dead at 6:19 p.m.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives of the
Fifth District .
