Death Investigation in the 1600 Block of F Street, NE, Ruled a Homicide

At approximately 3:45 pm on Friday, March 9, 2007, police were called to the 1600 block of F Street, NE, for the report of an unconscious person inside of a residence at that location.  Upon arrival officers located an adult female, identified as 30-year-old Terrian Felecia Cormack of the 1600 block of F Street, NE, suffering from apparent trauma to the head. DC Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to the scene but could find no signs consistent with life.

The victim was subsequently transported to the Office of the DC Medical Examiner where an autopsy was conducted to determine the cause and manner of death in this case. The Office of the DC Medical Examiner has ruled that the cause of death in this case was due to a gunshot wound to the head and that the manner of death in this case was homicide.

The Metropolitan Police Department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the district of columbia.  anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
