At approximately 6:27 last night, Thursday, March 22, 2007, police were called to the 7900 block of Eastern Avenue, NW, to investigate the report of a vehicle parked in front of 7981 Eastern Avenue, NW. Upon arrival officers located an adult male inside the trunk of a 2004 BMW suffering from apparent blunt force trauma to the head. The victim who has been identified as 37-year-old Christopher Patrick Hall, of the 12000 block of Gallahan Road, in Clinton, Maryland, was pronounced dead on the scene by a member from the DC Medical Examiner’s Office.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
