Shortly
after midnight on Tuesday, November 14, 2000, police and DCFD emergency
medical personnel responded to the 100 block of Randolph Place, NW to
investigate the report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, they located
a male shooting victim lying on the ground in the rear of 144 Randolph
Place.
The victim, who has not yet been positively identified, was transported
to Howard University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:36 a.m.
The remains were then transported to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the
department's Third District .
