On Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at approximately 4:11 pm, police and DC Fire Department Emergency medical personnel responded to the 4600 block of G Street, SE to investigate the report of a shooting. Upon arrival they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds lying in front of a house of worship located at 4625 G Street.
The victim, identified as 24-year-old Troy Bussey, of the 600 block of Atlantic Street, SE, was transported to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedSTAR Unit and pronounced dead.
The case is under investigation by detectives assigned to the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone who has information regarding this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
