At approximately 3:00 on the morning of Friday, March 23, 2007, two women walking in the 1600 block of Euclid Street, NW, encountered a man who claimed he had a gun. The man forced the women to withdraw some money from an ATM machine before taking them to a construction site located in the 2400 block of 17th Street, NW. He then sexually assaulted the women before fleeing.
The suspect in this case is described as a black male in his thirties with a light brown complexion, 5’8” tall, slim build with a full beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, dark-colored jacket, dark skull cap and a light-colored T-shirt or sweatshirt.

It should be noted that one subject was originally arrested in connection with the robbery, but the second suspect wanted for robbery and sexual assault is still being sought. The department wishes to remind the media that a surveillance camera captured a subject of interest in the area and the photographs are available on the department’s website.
Anyone with information about this case or sees this suspect should take no direct action but call police at (202) 727-9099. The department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
