Homicide at Georgia Avenue and Webster Street, NW

At approximately 8:52 last night, Wednesday, April 11, 2007, police were called to the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Webster Street, NW, for the report of a man down.  Upon arrival officers located 21-year-old Aaron Thomas Nash, of the 4600 block of 5th Street, NW, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body.  He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead at 11:32 pm.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
