This is to advise the news media that the department’s Youth Investigations Branch will host an Open House as part of April being designated as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Other agency representatives, such as DC Fire Department, Children’s National Medical Center, Child and Family Services, etc. will be in attendance.  Child safety tips and information and fun will be provided for parents and their children. Identification cards for children will be provided, K-9 and Horse Mounted Units and more will be present.

Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
