Homicide in the Rear of 7304 Blair Road, NW

At approximately 10:27 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2007, 54-year-old David F. Harris, of the 7300 block of Blair Road, NW, was in the rear of 7304 Blair Road, NW, with a group of people.  It was at this time that he was struck by a male subject and fell to the ground.  Mr. Harris was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit suffering from apparent head trauma.  At approximately 9:30 pm on Friday, May 18, 2007, he was pronounced dead as a result of his injury.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch.  Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
