Homicide in the 1300 Block of Taylor Street, NW

At approximately 11:36 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2007, a 17-year-old female was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of Taylor Street, NW, with a friend when shots were apparently fired at the vehicle. The female who was struck in the neck was subsequently driven to the Howard University Hospital and admitted in critical condition.   

On Friday, May 18, 2007, at approximately 6:13 am the victim in this case, who has been identified as Brittney Delacy  Hall of the 1300 block of Taylor Street, NW, was pronounced dead. 

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
