At
approximately 9:35 p.m., on Thursday, December 21, 2000, officers of the
First District responded to the unit block of Q Street, SW for the sounds
of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male suffering
an apparent gunshot wound to the head. DCFD
medical personnel were called to render medical assistance.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Danny Edward Fisher of the
100 block of Danbury Street, SE, was transported to D.C. General Hospital
where he was pronounced dead at 12:15 a.m. this morning.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives of the First

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR
REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest
and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed
in the District of Columbia.
