Visitors
to the 59th Annual Washington Auto Show will be able to do more than browse
for a new car. They can also get some common-sense advice from experts
on how to protect their vehicles from being stolen or broken into.
Representatives of the Metropolitan Police Department's Auto Theft Unit
will staff a booth throughout the show, providing visitors with information
and advice on preventing both auto theft and theft from auto. They will
also be able to warn people about auto theft and insurance fraud scams
that cost all motorists.
