At approximately 12:18 this morning, Wednesday, May 30, 2007, police were called to Bowen Road and Southern Avenue, SE, for the report of a fight. Upon arrival officers located 41-year-old Russell Tyson, of no fixed address, suffering from apparent stab wounds to the body. He was taken to the Prince George’s County Hospital and pronounced dead at 6 am.

Arrested on the scene was 42-year-old Carlos Héctor Flores-Pérez, of the 4400 block of Southern Avenue in Capital Heights, Maryland. He was charged with Murder Two While Armed.
