At approximately 1:00 a.m., on Friday, December 22, Sixth District officers were called to the 2100 block of Young Street, SE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the body of 24-year-old Markus Adam Williams, of the 1500 block of Potomac Heights Drive, Fort Washington, Maryland, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to D.C. General Hospital and pronounced dead at 8:49 a.m.

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
