Sexual Assault in the 1700 Block of Harvard Street, NW

At approximately 3:30 on the morning of Saturday, June 3, 2007, an adult female was walking up the second floor stairwell to her apartment located in the 1700 block of Harvard Street, NW.  It was at this time that a lone male forced her to the floor and sexually assaulted her.  When the victim resisted, the suspect beat her severely before fleeing.  She was taken to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

The suspect in this case is described as a black male, in his mid to late twenties, medium build, approximately 5’10” tall with long dreadlocks worn under a red bandanna.  He was last seen wearing a red tee shirt and blue jeans.
