This is to advise the public that due to a special event scheduled on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, the following traffic and pedestrian restrictions will be in effect:

• 4 am - 8:30 am
  Massachusetts Avenue, NW, will be restricted to vehicular traffic to one lane in each direction between North Capitol Street and 2nd Street, NW
  
• 8:30 am - approximately Noon
  Massachusetts Avenue, NW, will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic between North Capitol Street and 2nd Street, NW 

It must be noted that beginning at 4 am until approximately noon, trucks or buses will be prohibited on Massachusetts Avenue, NW, between Capitol Street and 2nd Street, NW

Motorists and pedestrians should be advised that these restrictions are subject to change as conditions necessitate.
