MPD Offers Reward of Up to $1,000 in Shooting Incident on Georgia Avenue

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in helping to locate the above subjects wanted on arrest warrants charging them with FELONY THREATS.

At approximately 8:50 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2007, an adult female was shot while standing at a bus stop located in the 3000 block of Georgia Avenue, N.W. by a male subject armed with a handgun. The victim was taken to an area hospital and admitted in critical condition.

Information developed during the course of the investigation indicates that three subjects allegedly threatened this same female sometime prior to the shooting. One subject was previously arrested. Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help locate the wanted suspects.

The two above named subjects may be armed. Anyone with information about this case or whereabouts of the two wanted subjects should take no direct action if they see them, but call police at 202-727-9099 or the department’s Crime Solvers Unit at 1-800-673-2777. Anyone who provides information through Crime Solvers that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case will be eligible for a reward of up to ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
