Fatal Stabbing At 8th & Jefferson Streets, NW

On Wednesday, January 24, 2001, at approximately 2:54 p.m., Fourth District officers responded to 8th and Jefferson Streets, NW to investigate the report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they located a male suffering from multiple stab wounds lying on the sidewalk.

The victim, who has been identified as 19-year-old Cedric C. Fulmore, of the 500 block of Longfellow Street, NW, was transported by DCFD ambulance to the Washington Hospital Center's MedSTAR Unit where he was pronounced dead at 3:53 p.m.

The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District . Anyone who has information regarding this case is asked to call detectives at 202-576-6726 or the D.C. Crime Solvers Unit at 1-800-673-2777 .

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
