At approximately 8:00 this morning 14-year-old Tracy Cole of the 5000 block of Chillum Place, N.E. was reportedly struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk located in the 900 block of Missouri Avenue NW. The vehicle subsequently fled the scene travelling eastbound on Missouri Avenue. DCFD medical personnel transported Tracy to Children's Hospital, where she was treated for apparent injuries to her leg and foot.

The vehicle is described as a dark colored two-door Toyota Supra possibly bearing Maryland tags BMH 352. The driver is described only as a black male.
