The Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes Branch is investigating the stabbing death of 26-year-old Tyson Eldridge.
At approximately 9:05 pm on Monday, August 20, 2007, police were called to the 1300 block of Corbin Place, NE to investigate the report of an assault. Upon arrival officers located Eldridge in front of 1308 Corbin Place, NE suffering from an apparent stab wound to the body. DC Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to the scene but could find no signs consistent with life. Eldridge, of the 300 block of 37th Street, SE, was transported to the Office of the DC Medical Examiner where he was pronounced dead.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
