Homicide at First and N Streets, NE

At approximately 10:30 on the morning of Saturday, September 1, 2007, police were called to First and N Streets, NE, for the report of a vehicle striking a wall.  Upon arrival they located 55-year-old Brian Harris, of the 900 block of Golden West Way in Lusby, Maryland, inside a Ford Focus suffering from apparent multiple stab wounds to the body.  He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch.  Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
