On Saturday, September 29, 2007, at approximately 1:18 am, police were called to the 4800 block of Alabama Avenue, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival police located a 38-year-old male suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body. He was transported to an area hospital and admitted in critical condition.

Police also located an unidentified adult male also suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body and head. He was taken to Howard University Hospital and pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
