A First District detective applied for and obtained a D.C. Superior Court search warrant for the residence. The following firearms were seized:

1. SKS rifle loaded with 19 rounds of ammunition;
2. Ruger 1022 rifle with 48 rounds of ammunition;
3. MAK-90 Sportster rifle with 30 rounds of ammunition;
4. Six cylinder black powder handgun;
5. Springfield 308 rifle;
6. Six cylinder black powder handgun;
7. 308 caliber rifle with 18 rounds of ammunition;
8. Monery black powder rifle;
9. MK2F rifle with 10 rounds of ammunition; and
10. Springfield 308 rifle with 42 rounds of ammunition.

Hundreds of rounds of ammunition, in various calibers, were also confiscated.

The defendant, identified as 52-year-old Donald MacCuaig Richardson, of the Fourth Street address, was arrested at 1:15 this afternoon and processed at the First District station. MacCuaig has been charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapons. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in D.C. Superior Court.
