Metropolitan Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the unit block of O Street, NW. On Thursday, October 25, 2007, at approximately 9:25 pm, police responded to the report of a shooting and found an adult male suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedSTAR Unit and pronounced dead at 11 pm.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Phillip Marshall of the 4600 block of Dallas Drive in Temple Hills, Maryland. 

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
