Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier announced today the start of the fourth All Hands on Deck (AHOD). The fourth AHOD begins on Friday November 2, 2007 and continues through Sunday November 4, 2007.  During AHOD, all available sworn personnel will be on patrol, and will work eight hour shifts. There will be no overtime costs associated with the third AHOD.

The first three phases of AHOD conducted in June, July and August netted more than 1,500 arrests.
