The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who set ablaze an employee of Good Guys Nightclub, located at 2311 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. The assault with intent to kill occurred shortly after 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2007.
A disgruntled patron, who was ejected from the club, returned to the club a short time later, doused the employee with flammable liquid, and set fire to him. D.C. Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze. The employee was transported to an area hospital and admitted for treatment of severe burns.
The suspect in this case is described as a balding, dark complexioned male, possibly Hispanic or of Middle Eastern descent. He was described as being between 30 to 40-years-old, approximately 5’8” tall, and was wearing a red jacket and black pants. He also may have suffered burns as the result of this assault.
