Homicide in the 1100 block of Howard Road, SE

At approximately 9:13 last night, Saturday, November 17, 2007, police were called to the 1100 block of Howard Road, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located 25-year-old Timothy Spicer, of the 1700 block of Q Street, SE, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body and the left arm. He was taken to the Howard University Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:50 PM.                                          

 

A preliminary investigation into this case reveals that the decedent may have been the victim of an alleged carjacking. The vehicle of the victim was subsequently recovered in the 1400 block of Bruce Place, SE.

 

The case is under investigation by members of the Department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

 

The department currently offers a reward of up to TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
