At approximately 5:14 PM, Monday, December 3, 2007, police were called to the 1000 block of First Place, NW for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 21-year-old Michael Yeager, of the same address, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch.

The department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
