Homicide in the 3900 Block of South Capitol Street, SE

At approximately 7 PM on Monday, December 3, 2007 police were called to a parking lot in the 3900 block of South Capitol Street, SE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body. The first victim identified as 24-year-old Michol Brown, of the 11000 block of Cosca Park Place, in Clinton, MD, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.

 

The second victim was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. He was taken to a local area hospital in stable condition. The identity of the second victim is being withheld at this time, because he is considered a witness in this case.

 

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch.

The department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
