The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a woman pulled from the Tidal Basin in the 1900 block of Ohio Drive, SW around noon on Saturday, December 29, 2007.  The body is now at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.  The case is currently under investigation by members of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Natural Death Squad.

The body appears to be that of an Asian female in her mid 40’s, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds.  The decedent was wearing a red sweater, a grey jacket, blue pants, and red and white tennis shoes.
