At approximately 2:30 am on Wednesday, July 22, 1999, officers from the Sixth District were called to 5105 F Street, SE to investigate the report of a shooting. On arrival, they discovered an adult male lying inside of a hallway at the address, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Thomas Walker of the above address. He was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene.
