On Thursday, January 30, 2008, the Aaron Jackson murder case was closed with the arrest of 38-year-old John Sinclair. Sinclair has been charged with Murder I while Armed.

On Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at approximately 3:40 am, police and DC Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to 4530 Fort Totten Road, NE, to investigate the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located 24-year-old Aaron Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel could find no life signs. The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.
