Fatal Shooting on Lamont Street, NE

At approximately 2:46 a.m. this morning Fourth District units responded to the 700 block of Lamont Street, NW, for the report of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, units located an unidentified male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body. DCFD were called to the scene to render medical assistance.

The victim, who has been identified as 22-year-old Timir Dawan Jordan of the 600 block of Lamont Street, NW, was transported to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit where he was pronounced dead at 3:10 am.

The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District.
