The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in attempting to identify and locate two armed robbery suspects.
On Sunday, February 24, 2008, at approximately 5:17 a.m., two male suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered Mac’s Tire Service, located in the 400 block of Florida Avenue, NE. Once inside they announced a robbery. They obtained a laptop computer and an undetermined amount of U.S. currency before fleeing the scene on foot.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 4’11” tall, wearing a ski mask and a brown or tan “Army-style” coat. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, wearing a ski mask and a blue and white jacket.
The suspects in this case should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099. The department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
