The Metropolitan Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the fatal stabbing of Calvin Jordan. A subsequent investigation conducted by detectives from the department’s Homicide and Sexual Offenses Branch has resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Raymond Crosson of the 5200 block of 2nd Street, NW.   At approximately 7:00 am on Friday, May 16, 2008, Mr. Crosson surrendered himself to detectives at the Homicide Branch and was placed under arrest.  He has been charged with Murder Two While Armed in the death of Calvin Jordan.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at approximately 11:30 pm, police were called to a residence in the 2200 block of 12th Street, NW, for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival officers located 28-year-old Calvin Jordan suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
