Arrest Made in the Death of Caesar Pancham

The Metropolitan Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the death of Caesar Pancham.  On Friday, May 16, 2008, 35-year-old Allen Ricardo Randolph was transported from the DC Jail on a booking order to the Homicide and Sexual Offenses Branch where he was charged with Murder Two in the death of Caesar Pancham.

 

On Thursday, May 8, 2008, police were called to an apartment building in the 1100 block of 45th Street, NE, to investigate the report of an assault victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered 48-year-old Caesar Pancham suffering from apparent trauma to the head.

 

He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead on Friday, May 9, 2008. An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia determined that the manner of death in this case was homicide.
