The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in attempting to locate a missing person.

John David Bynum was reportedly last seen at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008, leaving his residence in the 2800 block of 14th Street, NW. Mr. Bynum has reportedly failed to return home since that time.

Mr. Bynum is described as a black male, 75 years of age, standing 5’8” tall and weighing approximately 215 pounds. He is further described as having mixed black and grey hair, a goatee, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was reportedly last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and a yellow shirt.

Mr. Bynum is reported to suffer from Alzheimer’s and may be in the possession of mail with his name on it.
