Burglary and Sexual Assault Suspect Sought

suspectThe Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect who committed First Degree Burglary and First Degree Sexual Abuse on the morning of  July 10, 2008.

At approximately 4 am on Thursday, July 10, 2008, a male suspect entered a residence located in the 3300 block of 18th Street, NW and sexually assaulted the female occupant.  He then stole property and fled the scene.

The suspect is described a medium complexioned Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20’s, approximately 5'7” in height, weighing approximately 160-180 pounds with a muscular build, and has dark hair worn pulled back.  He was wearing a dark sleeveless shirt and possibly dark colored shorts.  (SEE ATTACHED COMPOSITE DRAWING)
