The Metropolitan Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the homicide of Ralph Dale Hodge, Jr.  On Saturday, August 30, 2008, at approximately 2:45 pm, members from the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 19-year-old Johnny Lee Graves in Southeast Washington.  He has been charged with Murder Two While Armed in this case.

Shortly after 5 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, after responding for the sounds of gunshots, police located 17-year-old Ralph Dale Hodge, Jr, in the 4800 block of Benning Road, SE, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
