Bank of America Robbery Suspect Sought

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

At approximately 10:05 am, Thursday, October 2, 2008, a male entered the Bank of America, located in the 4300 block of 49th Street, NW. Once inside, the suspect reportedly passed a note demanding money and obtained an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing.

The suspect in this case is described as a light-complexioned black male in his mid-20’s to early 30’s, approximately 6’0” in height and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He was reportedly last seen wearing a dark colored sport jacket, white shirt and blue tie. He also had an item described as a “messenger bag” over his shoulder.

There were no reported injuries in connection with this case.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any armed robberies committed in the District of Columbia.
