The Metropolitan Police Department in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two armed robbery suspects.
At approximately 12:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2008, two armed males entered the Wachovia Bank located in the 4300 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW. Once inside, the suspects reportedly displayed assault weapons and robbed the premises of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects in this case left the scene in a red Sport Utility Vehicle, which was found abandoned shortly after the robbery.
The suspects in this case are described as black males, wearing black clothing and white gloves, and armed with assault weapons.

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any armed robberies committed in the District of Columbia.
