Sexual Assault Suspect Sought

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault case on Massachusetts Avenue, NW.

At approximately 10:10 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2008, an unknown suspect approached a female who was walking in the 3700 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. The suspect sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect in this case is described as a Hispanic male, who is in his late teens or early 20s. He is approximately 5’7,” has a muscular build and weighs between 160-180 pounds and has dark hair that is pulled back. He was seen wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.
