The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in attempting to identify a decedent’s next-of-kin.

At approximately 11:20 am on Thursday, October 30, 2008, an adult male was discovered deceased in the 600 block of Division Avenue, NE.  At this time, there appears to be no foul play suspected in this case; as investigators assigned to this case continue working in close cooperation with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.

Through the course of this investigation, detectives believe they have determined the identity of the decedent; however as of this time they have been unable to locate the appropriate next-of-kin.
