The Metropolitan Police Department in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.
At approximately 9:30 this morning, Friday, November 28, 2008, a lone male entered the Bank of America located in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Once inside the suspect reportedly passed a note demanding U.S. Currency. The suspect robbed the premises of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene
The suspect in this case is described as a black male, in his thirties, 6’0” tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He was reportedly last seen wearing all black.

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any bank robberies committed in the District of Columbia.
Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to DC Crime Solvers at 1-800-673-2777 and to the department’s TEXT TIP LNE by text messaging 50411. If the information provided by the caller to the Crime Solvers Unit leads to an arrest and indictment, that caller will be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
