Kidnapping/Sexual Assault Suspect Sought

Sexual Assault SuspectThe Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect who committed a kidnapping and sexual assault during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 30, 2008. A male suspect operating a black Dodge Charger ordered a lone female into his vehicle at gun point in the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. After forcing the female into the vehicle, the suspect drove the victim to Prince George’s County, MD, where he attempted to obtain money from the female’s bank account. The male suspect then took the lone female to a wooded area in Maryland where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 23 years of age, 5’6”–5’7” in height, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with a medium complexion, goatee, and Mohawk hair style. He was wearing a blue Trek jacket with Puerto Rico written on the front in white letters and blue jeans with white designs on the back pocket.

The suspect was operating a black Dodge Charger with Virginia tags.
